I am not sure of the species, but it's a jumping spider. It is not mine, but my wifes.
Might be a Phidippus regius. Just a guess, as I'm not very knowledgeable. But I'd like to get a little jumper one day

When my wife woke. She is on nights. She said she thought it was something regius & we guessed P regius too. So thanks, that confirms our guess.

I missed out on a chance to get one earlier this year and I've regretted it since :( . This little one will totally endear itself to both of you. Your wife is so lucky to have her own!

I'm not 100% but I think yours is a female because I'm fairly certain males are black and white with green chelicerae. Someone can correct if Im wrong but I think only the females have brown patterning. Their chelicerae is colourful but not as bright shiny green as the males.

We were told it was female.
