Currently training it that mesh is bad and not to try to climb through it. I don’t have tools to get rid of it so this is my only hope. Whenever it tries to get to it I slap the lid and she goes back to the ground.
although I have not tried it, some use a smear of vaseline up the side of the enclosure. I think that would be a last resort but worth considering maybe?
