@Phil yeah but they are also called pillbugs and rolly pollies. This one of the only “true” rolly pollies because it is one of the few woodlouse species that can truly roll into a ball. For example another species in a cemetary by my neighborhood cannot roll.
@Kaden Alexander I will now call them pill bugs whenever I see them.
I don't think the ones in the UK can curl into a full ball... although I have never really checked. But will do next time I see them.
@Phil We have species that can roll into a ball. My only problem with using them in a setup is that they seemingly always come with a payload of tiny critters. I have enough fun combatting invaders without adding yet more to the mix.
