My first pairing was succesful

My P cambridgei pairing went great, I left the egg sac with mom and she opened it when it was the right time! Good job momma!
@Enn49 Thank you :) I couldn’t be more happy. To be honest, I don’t know how many there are, I noticed them today.
Not sure if I can keep them all together in a container separated from mom or if I should put each one in different vial.

@Enn49 I remembered to ask spiderworlds.eu about that and they said it’s best to separate them from mom into a plastic container with a damp paper towel so I did that. They each get their own vial on the next molt.
I counted 72. It was heartbreaking watching mom while I tore her hide apart so I left two babies with her. I just couldn’t take them al... She was so worried, walking around and picking up pieced of torn web...

Congratulations....hopefully you got them all. That's the only draw back from leaving them with mom. Can't wait to see more pics!!!

@Arachnoclown Thank you :) I’m thrilled that it all went so good considering it was my first pairing.
I’m positive I got them all, luckily mom’s cork bark separates in two pieces so I was able to inspect closely.

@Enn49 I can see that she was working hard all night trying to make another hide. Maybe she will feel better once she has two left to care for. I won’t miss two to be honest having 70 more.
