Most isopods are peaceful or opportunistic at most, but Excirolana chiltoni are aggressive and attack any vertebrates- including humans. Related to the infamous tongue-replacing isopods, their notoriety has led to museums using them to strip skeletons clean for display.
You would be astounded how rapidly these isopods strip flesh away, i intend to take video of a a bunch swarming a fresh prekilled guppy. If these things were an inch or larger they would be extremely dangerous
