sneaked into the spiderhouse while it was dark and caught all 5 P Mets out on the glass. Good reference to see how a colony form the same sac can show distinct size and colour variations as some grow quicker than others.
I would probably separate at about 4 inches DLS (mainly for breeding later on), although some keep them like that all their lives. I always have extra prey items in colonies so if 5 like this one, prey items will be 10 so that it reduces the greedy behaviour some have. having said that that, you can already see lots of size difference from these sac siblings.
I have 2 completely unrelated old adults (mature male and female) must living together in the same enclosure too. No visible signs of pairing attempts, no interest in each other really and like an old married couple, just seem to tolerate each other. ha ha
