Momma T. vagans showing off her new egg sac laid 6-11-20
do you take from mum after 30 days or leave as a general rule? I remove and finalise the incubation but I know other breeders like to leave with mum.

I pull the sac around 30-35 days depending on temp exposure after the sac was laid - then I incubate the EWL's until they reach 2i. Its been my experience the T. vagans do a great job nurturing and tending to their egg sac to ensure proper fertilization and care for her eggs - they work and roll their sac alot more than I would be able to do for the first month!

I agree, let mum do what Mums do and then incubate for maximum live ratio. :)
Good luck to you and mummy vagans.
