Basically, it's cool at night occasionally getting some fog because I turn the heat lamp down.
During the day, I crank it up and turn the fan on.
The spider seems to be doing very well.
I also found that if I put a cricket into the fridge in the plastic bag for an hour, remove all legs from one side and both drumsticks, feeding is a breeze. I just drop the chilled disabled cricket into the web. At first, Charlotte ignores it. As it warms up and becomes active, she's triggered to attack and feed.
Getting crickets smaller than she is becomes an impossible challenge. In nature, larger bugs get caught in webs all the time. The trick is to give her a head start, a chance to basically shoot fish in the barrel.
