If you can get a better pic, reupload.
I quite enjoy 'ventral guessing' as @plessey calls it :) he certainly has a point, as only a moult can be 109%, but I still like ventral. If I get them wrong, that's a great opportunity for me to learn a bit more and refine my methods, which is why I prefer it when people update these threads when they get moult confirmation. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of opinions and anyone using these threads to learn vent sexing can be lead astray. Say if for instance everyone said female but the t turned out to be male without the thread being updated.

I'm lucky in the fact that I don't breed or sell so sex doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things. But it is interesting to know. The only time it has mattered is with the baumgarteni. I don't feed it that much because I'm trying to have it's growth slowed down a bit to have a chance to breed it as they are pretty rare in these parts.

They are gorgeous looking T's. We don't see a lot of them in the UK either. I'm very tempted to snap one up if I see one for sale but trying not to as I can't keep getting every single new world I like the look of, lol. I'll end up having so much exposure to all the hairs floating about I'll have to wear a hazmat suit haha

it's a shame @Brachyfan is in the UK as I could really really make use of him. I am lucky to have an AF, unsexed juvie and a sling of the B baumgarteni

I noticed there is another sac in Canada recently. That makes 3. One from mid 2000's, another in 2015 (which mine is from) and this new one. That's why I am trying to slow his growth a bit. Possible line breeding. But having the new sac is good because I was told there are very few males here.

That t is pretty mental. Got a jump scare the other day! I leaned over to grab my water syringe and looked up to him launching on to the glass and smacking the crap out of it repeatedly! He also does that every time to his water dish lol! Always trying to escape too. FUN TIMES! :D
