Here in the UK we have a thing called Dangerous Wild Animals Act, and we need a DWA licence to own any Phoneutria, any Latrodectus, any Atrax and a whole list of scorpions. This license is the same that is needed to keep properly dangerous animals like bears, lions, crocs and gators. Getting the licence is also near impossible unless you own a private zoo or have sufficient land to make a zoo.</blockquote>
