I'm curious to see what others were labeled as then and now.To address the cultural aspect, in my teens I was labeled so many things; grunge, hippy, punk, freak, weirdo. I considered myself "alternative" as in, not main stream, and though I was a "pretty girl" I dressed in corduroys or jeans, band tees (Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Bad Religion, Phish, WSP), plaid flannel over shirt, argyle socks, converse shoes. I've always liked animals more than humans. They're generally nicer, and I always struggled with human relationships.My peers today tend to label me as boho, earthy and hippy. I guess I'm still not mainstream... A few tattoos that are covered by scrubs. No extra piercings. No creative hair colors.Music wise, as long as it's not Country, Christian anything, or Gospel, I'm pretty content.</blockquote>
