At 7am yesterday I noticed a wet glistening patch on the abdomen of my young adult female Xenesthis sp. intermedia. I scrutinised the options and of those possible I could only assume pre-moult leaking as she’s been in pre-moult for weeks. So I topped up her water and left her to it. Thankfully she flipped at 7pm and currently is recovering. Adding that to my list of strange things spiders do. I haven’t wanted to bother her other than a quick snap but she has changed from a dusty grey to a soft velvet black so can't wait to see her properly.</p></blockquote><p></p>
