I keep my smithis not too dry. I always have a plant in one part of the terrarium that I keep a little moist. If the plant is doing OK I found it to be ideal for the spiders as well. I feed every 7 days, amount of crickets depends on size. Last time I fed him he collected 6 adult crickets as soon as I put them in. ...and I think he is ready for a young lady!
