Hi all Bald patch has nothing to do with premolt. It just kicked some hairs at some point. They do that as a defence when irritated or to add extra security arround the enclosure. It will be easier to tell when is close to moult tho.The pink skin will turn dark almost black. Tarantula not eating is rarely a concern. They do that when in premolt yes but also if it has been rehoused lately or any major disturbance. If it is not housed properly or just cause is not hungry .Your has good size abdomen and dont see anything to worry about.Just keep offering pray every week and take it out in 24 h if not eaten and keep the water dish full. Regards Konstantin
