No shame in that, although I could think of a hundred easier ways to make money than this. My first tarantula was H formosus, a tiny lil sling from Juice's Arthropods (shoutout my boy Juice). And I was hooked on both the aesthetics of dwarf Ts as well as the practical aspect of cheaper enclosures, smaller shelf space requirements, generally fast maturity (except Neischnocolus and Homoeomma lol). The ones that really got me into breeding are Cyriocosmus sp Oronegro and Cyriocosmus ritae, both beautiful, both relatively lucrative, both relatively new in the US. Especially my Oronegro from Fear Not was one of the first imports of the species into the US. And I wanted to breed them because I wanted more of them, but also because I wanted to be the first (or one of the first) to captive breed them here. So yeah, it's a little bit for the money, a little bit because of my personal love for the species, and a little bit for the challenge of it, but now I'm inspired to try and be a consistent breeder of the smaller ones and share my excitement for them all over social media.</p></blockquote><p></p>
