I've always waited at least 4 days with slings, and a week with adults, to be safe. Some say slings harden much faster though. I'd wait N8tive, feeding won't really solve anything yet, but more drying and hardening might help a lot. After a few more days just start powerfeeding him. Just my opinion though, I'm no spider doctor
