Perhaps the best beginner centipede. They are laid back, easy to keep and max out at 6". These are Mediterranean locale</p><p></p><p>Scolopendra dehaani "Red Legs"</p><p>6” adults - $75 each. These came to me as Thai giants but this color form ranges all the way in to Vietnam and it's impossible to know where they come from. They are not the same as the cheap imports you see at reptile shows. These are really beautiful- very similar to the Malay cherries, and some are a deep, blood red.
