Hi all and thanks in advance!
(I did try to see if this topic was previously posted but I didn't find anything.)
We have a P Metallica (her (we hope it is a her) name is Sweet P - there is also a second and her name is Sweet P II)
Original Sweet P had a molt in her enclosure when we picked her up mid Dec 2014 and was a great eater for a month or two. She was super tidy, always cleaning herself too. Now she hasn't eaten in 92 days but we have seen her drink. She has made a little hammock to lay on BUT... she hasn't yet molted. She has very thick web stuck to her spinnerets (see Pictures). Her web is now as thick as sewing thread. I am so worried. Do we need to try and get that web off her spinnerets? If yes - How?
Sweet P with her webby butt...
"Sweet P II" in her pretty blues - she molted on 5/17
Thanks for any help or advice you have - Sweet P's Mom
