These guys like to let the freak flag fly out in the open & it's a lot easier for them to run down feeders when there isn't as much clutter.They are big girthy tarantulas and I've observed roaches trying to wedge themselves into corners, usually resulting in the tarantula flinging substrate like a psycho poo flinging monkey in most cases to get it.Although it isn't really fitting a desert motif, I'd suggest trying out a patch of frog moss. I'm pretty sure your LP will basically stay on it forever especially if you keep it moist.</blockquote>
