She set up her web house behind a mug I provided for a hide, and is either chilling inside, or on top of the mug on the lookout. She was super skittish when I initially rehoused her, but has since calmed down. She won't even flinch when I open the enclosure. Now, it's interesting to hear of people's accounts about the A. avic, and I'm thinking I need to get another one just to experience their typical behavior. Mine is my pet rock. She sits on the glass, and will maybe shift to the right, or perhaps the left. Sometimes she gets really adventurous and will go to the other side of the enclosure. I can stick my hand in there, pet her little butt, and she just sits there. Occasionally, she'll flex her legs in lazy protest, but that's it.</blockquote>
