Tarantula will not use burrow after traumatizing experience

I’ve had a Stirmi for a couple months and everything’s been going great it made a real nice burrow but something happened yesterday that the tarantula will not recover from and I completely get it. During the night yesterday my sisters cat clawed open it’s enclosure and chased the spider out when I woke up o found the cat trying to slap the spider in the living room I immediately got the spider checked for hemolymph and ruptures and there weren’t any but now the tarantula won’t go into his burrow and last night he spent hours over the water dish will anyone tell me why he isn’t using his burrow
Also I started working on an acrylic enclosure

Looks very stressed. He's only had a day to recover from the ordeal...give him time to feel safe again even if it takes a while
