They aren't the best climbers to begin with. They're a terrestrial spider that dwells on the ground. True premolt makes climbing worse. However the can still feed at the beginning of development of their new exoskeleton. Just make sure you don't have anything dangerous or hard to fall on. Also make sure they can't fall more then 6".
