Still, just like rescuing any other animal, rehabbing a sick or injured tarantula is deeply satisfying if you succeed.  Stay positive.  The venom will wear off after the larva would've matured had it been successfully deposited.  From what I've read, the main thing is keeping them hydrated.  Still, I'd defer to others who have successfully rescued them.
