I had 3 moulted yesterday, my Avicularia versicolor, Jazz, then the Omothymus schioedtei, Lapan, followed by Trip, the Poecilotheria metallica who gave me a huge scare. Trip's moult began yesterday afternoon when she started webbing frantically, by evening she had flipped onto her back in the hammock she'd made at quite a steep angle, she looked as though she was about to slide down a helter-skelter. The moult itself was quite successful but then she slid down and off the bottom landing with her old exo in a heap on the floor, a drop of around 5". I had to leave her overnight, this morning she had moved a little and has now crawled behind the plant so I can't see her but at least she seems to have sorted herself out. Trip on her back She's out A crumpled heap on the floor
