I fear that my poor P. met spiderling is suffering from symptoms of DKS. I don't know the cause, it's often blamed on environmental or food contamination, but the sling is kept in the same area and was fed the same as the others whom are fine. Last I reported he had been on his back for over 24 hours. Since then he surprised me by sitting the right way up again 2 mornings ago. I genuinely thought he was gone at one point, because during my attempts to keep him hydrated, there was no reaction, but then the legs started twitching again. He's neither eating, drinking or moving, so to make it easier to monitor his fluid intake, I've just moved him back into ICU. I made him move a couple of steps, and lo behold, he throws the legs he can kind of control up in the air with jerky movements. There is no fight left in him, he didn't try to run away or attack the cotton bud. I think, it's basically palliative care for him from now on :(. P.S: I wonder whether his "molt" position was down to a seizure which made him flip over?
