[QUOTE="MassExodus, post: 148495, member: 4086"] I've seen well known youtubers, who had large collections, sell young Brachys and Grammastolas in utter frustration at their growth rates. I have a a few that I'm certain will outlive me. I personally think thats cool af. My first Brachy, a male boehmei, is still immature after..8 years or so? In the hobby..I raised him from a half inch legspan. My T room is at 72º F, so I'm not exactly rushing them to maturity. I've reached the point that growth rate doesnt concern me much. A beautiful, long lived species is PRIME to me. G pulchras at this temp are worse than Brachys. My pulchra will outlive us all, I think. She's the only spider I keep thats bitten me, purely from feeding response and my inattention to the fact that she molted a month before, refused prey like she does A LOT, and hid her molt. She was very hungry, it was my fault entirely. Great species. A full grown pulchra female is absolutely stunning..I can't wait to see her in 5 years. Even as a juvie she's thick, and confident, and after a molt? Fantastic looking. Im going to give everyone a superworm snack right now..new worlds..they're just superior to most old world T's. Most.
