You can just cut a cricket into pieces and feed your sling like that - I'm usually using cut mealworms when feeding the smallest slings in my collection.You can keep the enclosure mostly dryer side, especially since you have a small dish there - otherwise you can just drip some water on one side, but not make it damp. And yes, even small slings can drink from the dish and it will use it when getting thirsty. Tarantulas don't show any particular interest in the dishes anyway
