Buy your tarantulas from captive bred breeders and you wont have to worry about them.All other mites are beneficial in small numbers. Just let your enclosure dry out to kill them off. No matter what you do they will be back...I dont even bother with them.As for DKS I've had a tarantula molt out of it and live out its life. Ive had some die too. All of them  I purchased from a pet shop that probably was using glass cleaners but wouldnt admit to it. Of course I purchased them next to nothing to try and help them.</blockquote>
