I had the biggest fear of spiders and I actually have a friend who had some tarantulas.. scared me to death. Then I had worked a fair around me that had an "exotic petting zoo" and they had a tarantula. I went up and visited it everyday and held it on a dare. I loved it so much. I went home and did all the research and put together a three ring binder with information on them and how to care for them. My mom decided to let me have one.. and here I am three years later with lots of ts to love.Also.. that is amazing that it lived in there for so long without the regalis noticing and eating it.
