I was recently browsing craigslist as I usually do, when I came across a guy who was selling his G. Rosea, who was shown being handled in a bad quality photo. He claims it is a docile female and came with a hide, and a 12x12x12 Exo-Terra for 35 bucks! I had to seize the opportunity. Upon meeting up with him I saw the poor conditions he kept the little T in... at least 11 dead, whole crickets, feces from what I believe is another animal, most likely a herp, and wood chips as substrate. Pathetic. Needless to say, I took it and immediately washed the enclosure, replaced the substrate (huge shoutout to Pets Barn for being open on Labor Day) and cleaned the hide. The beautiful little T went from a small curled up specimen to actively exploring and climbing about. After this experience, my only question is, why bother get a T if you are not going to take care of it?
