Quick question about a loose meal worm

Question for anyone. I had a meal worm get loose in my avic avic cage. She didnt want it and it evaded me. I went through the substrate with tweezers, cant find it anywhere. Will they hurt a T if they molt? and also if i cant find it and it dies an rotts in there is another concern of mine.

I meal worm should not cause your tarantula any harm. The only thing to do is take it out if you happen to see it, also check the tank for mold often if it dies in there it could mold.

Yeah i usually do, but i have a thing of meal worms in my fridge i throw one in once and a while to change it up a bit. Since they keep for a very long time. crickets are a pain to keep alive most of the time.

yeah funny how we end up caring for our spiders food as much as the spider. lol ....oh sweet irony

I had no problems keeping crickets alive once I put them in a 80lt tub, but I can't seem to keep locusts very long (two weeks max) once I figure it out I won't need any more crickets !!! :D:D:D
