Impossible to stretch it out now without rehydrating or breaking it. I left it in a distant part of the house, didn't notice a smell, no bugs or mold occurred for me. YMMV.Depending on your goals for your girl you could leave her as it to dry out, stretch her out and let her dry or perhaps find another hobbyist willing to do the work for you.
