As some of you may know my juvenile female b.smithi molted yesterday. I managed to remove the molt and its complete. I have noticed today though that her colour isnt the same all over. Her back 2 pairs of legs and abdomen are a deep dark black and the red/orange really pops out at you as you would expect. But her caprace and front 2 pairs of legs are really dull, the black is almost a grey colour and the red/orange is a faded shade, pretty much the same as it would usually look pre molt. Has anyone else ever had this happen?
