I brought home a really beautiful adult Aphonopelma Seemanni a few months ago. She (I'm guessing) looks due for a molt, and as such I was not particularly concerned with a kind of black scab-like material attached to her pedipalps- I assumed it was just part of her general "molt on the way" look. This morning I noticed the same spots had changed color- and are now a definite grey. I keep her in a large critter keeper on sub that is dry but also moist in spots- but, as far as I can guess, certainly not wet in the way that would foster mold. Anyone have experience seeing this scab-like growth on a tarantula, especially as it changes hue? Months ago: Today: Thanks all
