I'm not sure how long they had spent trying to get the address right etc, but it does sound like bad business practice :( It has happened to me in other online shops and does annoy me (especially when days/weeks have elapsed and they'd clearly had time to take it off the website so other people wouldn't buy it if it was out of stock). I.e. you pay for something, then they don't reserve it. It's like if you went to a shop and were on the way out having just paid and got a receipt then they said 'wait, we're having that back' :p *sigh*.
