I would certainly say over £100
Yes they are more than £100. I already have one but that was from Germany. I was looking for a male. Could not find one but I have been offered a female.

Just wondering what a reasonable price would be for uk. They are few and far between.

I personally wouldn't pay much more than £100. If you are gonna struggle to get a male as well you are just adding more to something you have. Just my personal opinion. I used to have one, along with many many other species when I was wanting to have as many as I could but now my attention is more on breeding and so I am getting a bit pickier in my old age and trying to think about whether I really really really need another of what I already have.
Get a nice rufus instead.

U just so happen to have a lovely rufus for sale! ;)

What, only now you're questioning whether you need those armies of duplicates?! I totally agree you don't need them and you should sell some of them (to moi) :)

I had a couple but were only slings that I got from Poland. I haven't seen any adults for sale so not sure if that £100 benchmark is the going rate or not. It sounds ok though as I paid £30 for the slings so £100 for an AF is reasonable. My main point (genics aside as other have pointed out...LOL) is whether you want to spend that amount to duplicate what you already have. That's the bit that only you can answer :). I will never pass on a genic but I am always looking to breed them so I absolutely do need 7 AF to create a harem for a MM when I find one again. Ha ha

I can get a male but it's in germany so got to wait until we are allowed to play out again.

I sadly pulled the trigger on the female last night lol. Made it up until four minutes to midnight then sent the money .

I paid £280 for the adult female P. Sp rufus. As far as I can tell that was a good deal. The P. Everetti...... was a little more haha. But my first one was so I wasn't surprised. One day I shall buy the M. Balfouri communal that I actually go looking for in the first place!

You should checked out my for sale list for a rufus. unsexed large juvie but very very reasonable ...ha ha

Congrats on your new purchase :)

I have just finished the cooling period for 2 x AF balfouri and "made it rain" so I am hoping they will drop sacs soon and then I should be able to help you with a colony.

The BTS would have been an ideal place for a colony of Balfouri. there are always some there for sale. July 12th I think is the rescheduled date.

I probably wont make any shows this year as I will have a lot to catch up on when flight restrictions are lifted.

I saw an m. Bal community on YouTube 70 t's! Wow. I also discovered isopods on youtube. Now my possessive side is demanding I buy a colony of each type. I dont know why but I just have to have them!? I have started burning vent holes in tubs for god sake!:rolleyes:

I hear that! My mum will sometimes come over with random containers and ask if my tarantulas could use them :) !
