My order from Petcenter came in :) 3 chubby, healthy greens and a freebie campbridgei, same size as the ones from Doc. I got one good pic, the campbridgei was a pita, no pics, but here's this

Thanks everyone, I'm loving these little monsters. All three were just like my atrichomatus pair, open the lid and they crawl right out. The Pcam pulled a runner >: / but I got him in his new place eventually..all three Pcams were the same too, lmao. Little spastic jerks. Love em.

I continue to be struck by how active and tough Phormictopus seem to be. They're the only spider I've seen so far that seems unaffected by a trip through the mail, and not afraid to just crawl right out of the vial and look around a bit. It's hard to put into words, they seem to be a very vital genus though, from what little I've seen of them. All 5 Phormictopus immediately set to work making their new homes more suitable, building defenses..my Pamphos and Xenesthis are still just kind of hanging out...it reminds me of the story about the grasshopper and the ant. The tough genera stand out from the rest, I guess. I only have 5 babies but this has already become my favorite genus, hands down. I can't wait til they get big and feisty :D

You won't be disappointed Nicolas, they're beautiful, and you can see the green tint early, it's just not metallic yet..I have one that keeps coming out, webbing a bit, then going back in her hide. She's on my desk in front of me right now :)

They just had their first dubia encounters, lol. One killed it immediately and started eating, the other two are biting and dropping them. They'll eat them eventually but its funny to watch them bite, drop, chase, bite..
