Sure, I can do that. You have to remember that he molted less then 8 hours ago. That's the only reason I wasn't wearing gloves. After my T stirmi molted, she gave me a threat posture when I pulled the molt but didn't actually bite. Here's the P striata cage cleaning. Bear in mind, & you can't see it in the video, the fangs were white with just a hint of color. Bottom line is that my gut is telling me that he has outgrown his enclosure. I think if he had more room to get out of the way, he would've done that. It's all relative, the ratio of T size to cage size increases as the T grows. This means that it'll feel cornered more and more. If the cage is half as big, it'll get cornered twice as fast. By way of comparison, here's my T stirmi after she molted. Again, all bark no bite...because she can't. Oh, & here's Shampain's video. He was literally getting in the OBT's face, not trying to work around her. Still, I wouldn't pull a stunt like that with an OBT. I haven't quite figured out how I would approach cleaning with a T that prefers to stand and fight instead of getting out of the way. I think he was at level orange. This chart is used by cops in training.
