I have an old mature male C. Huahini- have had him in my care since around last October. Not sure just how old he is, but I know he is VERY old (sorry for lack of details). My ask to those who have kept old males before, and seen them through their final days: Is it common for such a specimen to express themselves as uncomfortable- even if husbandry is good, and there exists little to no change in their environment? My sweet thing alternates from holding himself this way: To confidently walking around, as if nothing is the matter. As always, I just want to make certain I'm not neglecting his needs and that I'm practicing good husbandry. I know it's a matter of time for these old guys, but simply don't know if this is normal for a very old male (this is the first very old male I've cared for). I am wondering if reaching great old age is itself an uncomfortable thing for such a spider? Thanks for reading and for your experience
