My Avic. hasn't eaten in months and he's losing weight. Lately he's getting lethargic and actually going to the bottom of the enclosure. He's on the bottom right now. He was drinking OK for most of that time, but, I haven't seen him drink in the last couple of weeks, but, I have been leaving him alone as much as possible so as not to stess him. He last molted a few months ago, I think he's eaten a couple of times since then (but, not in the last two months, maybe a little longer), but, wasn't too enthusiastic about it even then. He was very active for awhile right after the last molt. I've had him almost a year, he was about half grown when I got him. I think he may have tibial hooks, but I can't see very clearly and I hate to bother him when he's obviously not feeling well. Would this be normal behavior if it was his ultimate molt (I can't find any information concerning this specifically). If it was his ultimate molt what do I do? Do I just leave him alone? Should I still offer him food? How can I make it easier for him? Thank you in advance for any help.
