So people keep telling me that terrestrial tarantula stay in burrows as babies till their a few inches. So mine did that for about 5 months. Got him/her as a 1/2inch baby. It's now molted twice. Now it is almost always out of its burrow walking around slowly like adults. Though does make dashes for its burrow when frightened. It is more active and out of its burrow than are 3.5 inch chalcodes which is in its hide 75% of the time. Our little guy also comes running out of its burrow when people walk by. My question. Has anyone had a sling that wasn't shy and super skittish.
