:DHi everyone, I am from Philippines a newbie into this kind of hobby… At first I am not so interested into this exotic pet, because to be honest I was afraid on big/huge spider... Until one of my friend introduce it to me and by reading on some articles and forums where I got more ideas about T’s then eventually it motivates me and start my fascination... I bought my first T’s when I was on vacation last year, three Brachypelma Vagans and three Grammostola Pulchripes, but due to I cannot bring them here in Saudi where I am working... I left them to my brothers for them to take care…And surprisingly they are all now in good big shapes and healthy as well... Now I am here, I bought some T’s and really each species has it’s own characteristics and they really take my attention specially when feeding them... Maintenance are so easy, also I do having on making DIY enclosures, but because I am located on a dessert area and with exemption to their foods, it is hard to find live crickets or roaches for me to feed them... I am just asking my friend to catch roaches for me :):D...
Anyway, I will try to be more active into this forum and post as many as I can with regards to the progression and growth of my T’s and also looking forward for some comments and advices and to find new friends into this interest...

Hi there... I did new post with photos of my collections... I am trying to attached all my collections but suddenly theres an error message... Probably due to it has already a huge files uploaded on that post, so I decided to just post those Arboreal first and then I will make another post of those Terrestrial... To direct to my post just click HERE ;)

Regarding to your question... Mostly what I love about T's, firstly is when I am feeding them... I observed that each T's has its own characteristics and even they are slings some of them is feeding as long as they can... Like my B. Vagans... I feed her three roaches at a time, and it really nice to watch her how she attacked and pull her preys...

Hello welcome to the forum, very nice mixture of T's you've got there.
If your interested in a M.balfouri commune you should have a look on the British tarantula forum website there's a thread on there that documents a commune and their progress over a year it should give you an idea of the size of enclosure and feeding regime for them at different sizes..

Thanks Ghost... and I appreciate your advice... I will try to check and search on their forum later... For now, I am just creating some DIY enclosures for my T's and can't wait to rehouse them... And regarding to M. Balfouri... Maybe I will look for it by next year or end of this year... I am having problem on how or where I can find some feeders for my T's. Because here in Saudi, no pet shop are selling any feeders... Just dried milworms and crickets for birds...
