So my Venezuelan Sun Tiger arrived today. Beautiful little thing, only about 3cm leg span. I thought I'd share a pic of it just after I put it in its new home.

I have a 3rd instar, and they are fun little things. It is a blast watching it launch after its prey. Such spirit, and gusto.

So. Quick update. I basically didn't see this T for a week. It quickly made its home in between the 2 pieces of cork bark I put in the deli cup. It webbed quite a bit where they nearly meet and covered some of its Web with substrate to wall itself in.

After a week I tossed a cricket in. 2 days later it was still there.

Then PANIC! I noticed a pedipalp lying on the substrate! Oh sh!£. My heart sank. I was on my way out so had to quickly get the cricket out and leave.

Later I returned and spotted a carapace lying on the substrate too. Then I realised, it must have moulted! I got my torch and peered down into its lair. I can just about see some really bright colouring on the legs. Can't wait to see it properly now!
