It was Very chilly here in Northern Virgina after being rather nice the last few days. My luck of course. I already had its terrarium set up and as soon as i got that beloved "Box" from fed X i opened it  It was packaged ok. Opened it up and there it was ! I carefully opened the top of the container being aware that these tend to be aggressive. I had a scoop ready to round her up if she made a break for it. No movement....I was heartbroken. THEN i took a small stick that i had handy and lightly prodded her and she moved ! I scooped her up and gently put her in the tank I had the space heater going and put a humidifier nearby. She did not move again for a couple of Hours. I went to the Local chain of pets-smart and bought a couple bucks worth of crickets and some super worms.  Her abdomen looked really small compared to her carapace. I wondererd if indeed she would eat and dropped in 2 worms by her. Came back in a min after finding out why my Double yellow headed Amzon Parrots were being quiet and yes, just like 4 year old kids, "when they are quiet they are up to something"  and yep they were into the Dogs food again and scared the dog under the couch..!  Anyhoo i came back and the Spider had a Superworm and was busy gobbling it !   You know how that feels right!  way to cool.. so i put in 2 crickets and another Superworm  and am going to keep an eye on the situation. I will post pictures VERY soon , maybe in a couple hours so you all can get in on the fun.  This sort of thing can only be shared with people that are in the "know" and i bet your as excited as I am !    Cheers all and ill keep you posted !</p></blockquote><p></p>
