Hi everyone! I am a new keeper of this wonderful arachnid world. My name is Alana and I am very fond of animals. I currently have 6 tarantulas, and seven phidippus regious. Yet I have only been in the hobby a total of 4 years. I have 3 fossorial, 2 arboreal and one terristiral. I have learned much in the ways of spider husbandry from reading and looking things up online but I am not the most social of people nor are there many around me who like spiders. So everything I've learned was from hands on experience. Yet I find myself always wanting to talk about my little babies. Like a proud parent. Im always looking to know more and to brag about my little cuties and find out which one I should get next to add to my tarantula empire and jumper kingdom. It started with my jumper, riot. My first little spider. She is so cute! I did my research for an entire year on care and information about jumpers before I even bought her. When she finally arrived I was hooked. I started researching tarantulas and their care and found that I was really into wanting to own one. Then the day finally came and I went to a pet store and picked up my little gbb. Haven't stopped since and I enjoy every moment with them! As mentioned before I am now currently at 6 tarantulas and 7 jumpers because of my love for them now! I also currently have 3 cats but they all do not try to attack my little ones. My youngest cat actually likes to rub his cheeks on my tarantula tanks. And they also keep watch when my jumpers take their walks. They never attack them which is good. I can't wait to show off my little babies to those who appreciate them!!!!!!! There will be one pic attached to show off my little pink toe, she is very photogenic. Yes, in the background is my youngest cat greeting the spiders as usual.
