I name all of mine... I am determined to ;) My 5 latest ones are still waiting for names. I like to name them as to me they are all pets and I can get to know each one individually regarding their behaviours/preferences/character easier if they have a name. Also, practically it makes it easier to monitor them, especially those of the same species that could otherwise easily get mixed up.


I seem to have a few of the same names as Thatguy83 :p I did have a Nefertiti, however she was a jumping spider and sadly passed away I 'hope' of old age.


I am a big fan of Harry Potter so some are named from there, some are from other television programmes/films, some my friends have named and some are Latin as I really like the sound of that language. So if I'm struggling I pick a feature of the spider and look up the Latin word for it.
