This idea came about because of my slightly psychotic G. Porteri whom I had to put her enclosure into a bigger enclosure anytime I needed to even slightly open her lid. Thanks to this table which is completely sealed off with slick sides now I just put her on it and no worries. I even had her out on my hand for a bit today.
