Hello, first off I'm new to the forum and pretty excited to be a part of it! I picked up my Chaco golden knee (Grammostola pulchripes) last week. Everything seems to be fine other than the fact that it doesn't burrow. I haven't changed the substrate from the stuff the pet shop used (not exactly sure WHAT it is, but the other golden knee juveniles at the store were borrowing into it). I'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on, or if it's anything to even worry about? It's still pretty young (about 3/4") and has just been moved, maybe that's part of it? I also live in a somewhat chilly area, and planning on getting a heater to warm up my room a bit. Would the cold weather be the cause of my T not burrowing? Any help is definitely appreciated... Thanks!
