I've briefly mentioned about my second T which is a G.Rosea I named Iggy. Well, I don't ever think I've mentioned one fact that has been tormenting me with this thing- THIS SPIDER IS BEYOND AGGRESSIVE! Where is beyond aggressive? Who knows, but my spider has been able to find it. Iggy hates the sight of me. Usually when I walk into my room, she will ready herself for pouncing at me (which she has done, so don't role your eyes to the possibility). She has also made the habit of watching my way out of the room (she literally spins to face me as I leave). Another thing important to mention- don't even bother touching Iggy. The first time I every tried testing her temperament with metal spoon handle, she quickly turned towards my hands with her legs up and fangs exposed. Recently, my father suggested that he try touching her with a wooden spoon handle, and since Iggy had been in an exceptionally good mood that day ('good' used lightly), I allowed him to do so under my supervision. From the first experience, I had honestly figured Iggy was a 'for show' spider and wouldn't actually attack. What happened when the spoon reached her leg? She bolted towards my dad and knocked the spoon out of his hand. My father actually admitted thatmy spider had strength to her! This is a long thread, but I couldn't find a short way to talk about the terrible behaviors my spider has. Does anyone have this hard of a time with a G.Rosea? I know I'm not the only psycho rosie owner, but my t's behaviors have been awful compared to the others I've read about.
