The shelf faced the same as my window, so it was always dark to her. I would set her on my desk during the day and put her up at night. I figured this might be why she never hid or burrowed. I moved my room around so the shelf faces the window. And within an hour she started to dig a burrow. Away from the light source. Smart little bugger.</blockquote>
